- Description
- Switchboard Replacement, North Platte Federal Building, 300 E. 3rd Street, North Platte, NE. PCN RNE24080. IFB o/a April 11,2006 with approximate bid opening May 11, 2006. Estimated cost range $250,000-$500,000. Time for completion 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. Project involves, but is not limited to: replace the main switchboard, motor control center MCC-1, HVAC Central Control Panel, the split system cooling only unit with combination electric heating and heat pump cooling unit in elevator machine room, the existing wall mounted ground bars with a new service ground, existing feeder wiring to each power panel. Remove the exhaust fan filtered heating duct and grille in the elevator machine room, the primary switch and spare neutral conductor from transformer vault, the Notifier system panel and components. Install additional emergency egress/exit lights throughout the building, additional receptacles throughout the building. Expand the existing Pyrotronics MXL system. Contractor working hours shall be generally established to occur during Government occupied hours (6am-6pm). The procurement is offered on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The applicable NAICS code is 238210, size standard $12,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency within the limits of this announcement. There is a 10% price evaluation factor for HubZone Small Business. No document charge is required. Interested offerors are required to obtain a Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. (DUNS) identification number and register their name in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. If the offeror has not already been assigned a DUNS identification number, the offeror will be required to obtain a DUNS identification number prior to registration in CCR. A DUNS identification number can be obtained by contacting Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., at phone (800) 333-0505. If the offeror is not currently registered in the CCR database, registration can be made via the world wide web at http://www.bpn.gov. Your CCR registration should take approximately 48 hours for processing and activation. In addition, offerors must register in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). ORCA is an on-line system that is located on the Internet. The ORCA site can be found by going to http://www.bpn.gov and clicking on ?Online Reps and Certs Application? on the left side of the screen. Two items are needed prior to registration in ORCA; (1) An active record in CCR, (2) A Marketing Partner ID (MPIN) from that active CCR record. Marketing Partner ID (MPIN) is a personal code that allows a CCR registrant to access other government applications such as the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), FedTeDS, ORCA, and grants.gov. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOps and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information: Your Company Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) (You can get this from your company CCR Point of Contact), Your Company DUNS Number or CAGE Code (Contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 if you do not have a D&B Number), Your Telephone Number, and Your Email Address. Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedTeDS. No federal material can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedTeDS via the following address: www.fedteds.gov. You will then be required to access the vendor registration form by selecting the hyperlink entitled REGISTER WITH FEDTEDS and then choosing the VENDOR REGISTRATION FORM hyperlink. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOps for any changes and/or conditions.
