Description

National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with McCreight and Company, to provide subject matter expert guidance to Senior Leadership to transform a multitude of technical and process improvement goals and objectives to achieve convergence. Specifically, to have expertise in melding a labyrinth of local area networks with unique equipment and incompatible designs into one homogenous entity with a core design capable of proactive monitoring and maintenance. McCreight & Company has the specific expertise and unique knowledge in designing and implementing a reliable, effective and efficient network infrastructure of the magnitude and complexity required. McCreight is currently under contract to perform these services and award to any other source is anticipated to result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition nor is it anticipated that competition will provide expert services above those being provided by McCreight. Authority for this sole source procurement is under 10 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize that they can perform the required services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of publication. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on any information provided is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources will be given full consideration. Only written responses will be considered.
