Description: Written proposals for Factors 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are due by 11:00 AM, Eastern Time 31 March 2006. Offerors will be contacted after evaluation to schedule oral presentations. Oral presentations are tentatively scheduled for the week of 2nd week of Apri l 2006. Offers shall be submitted electronically to gay.hayden2@det.amedd.army.mil by the closing date and files should submitted utilizing Microsoft Office products or in PDF format, zip files are not authorized. CAD drawings, paint, tile and carpet samp les are available for review at www.usamraa.army.mil; select RFP's not online and look for Question 5 to W81XWH-06T-0139. Questions and answers from site visit on 16 March 2006 are listed. 1. Will refurbished/remanufactured furniture be a consideration? No. Only new furniture will be considered. 2. Who will wire power poles to workstations? The contractor will wire their power poles onto the electrical circuits run over the ceiling grid above the General Workstation area. 3. Do all existing windows re main? Yes 4. Did I understand correctly that there would be a second set of glass doors between the reception area and the General Office space where the systems furniture will be located? There are no glass doors on either side of the vestibule. There are two sets of glass doors at the main entrance from the outside. 5. When will paint and carpet samples be made available to contractors? PDF images included with the mod to the solicitation. If, it is necessary for you to view the original paint and carpet samples , please contact me by email only gay.hayden2@det.amedd.army.mil to set up an appointment. The original samples will be viewed at USAMRAA, 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, MD 21702.6. When will AutoCad drawing be available? File incorporated with this m odification and available at USAMRAA website. 7. Will the flat screen monitors referenced in part 3 under Description in the solicitation be LCD/Plasma or CRT with flat screen? LCD. The government will provide the monitors. 8. In the same section a Produ ction Workstation is referenced. Does that refer to the centralized printing/faxing/copying location or something else? They are one and the same. The floor plan shows the copier and printer located next to a worktable. We want vendor provided mail distr ibution boxes placed on the rear of the worktable up against the wall. We need a minimum of 30 slots to place mail/correspondence for employees working within the area designated in the floor plan. The plotter printer will be located in the file storage room next to the kitchen. 9. Will we receive email notification? A modification to the original Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice will be posted on FedBizOps.
