Description

On April 5, 2006 the seminar Certifications for Small Businesses, will be offered at our new location at Prince William Campus, Bull Run Hall Room 249, 10900 University Boulevard,Manassas, VA 20110-2203. Pay parking required. Certification by State and/or federal agencies, for example the SBA helps small businesses and small disadvantaged businesses compete on Federal contracting opportunities through their 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) programs. This seminar discusses the broad scope of assistance available to individuals who qualify to be certified as socially and economically disadvantaged firms as well as the differences between the programs. Discussion will also include a review the paper form of the online application together with the required supporting documentation. April 5, 2006, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Cost is $45.00. Class to be held at: Bull Run Hall Room 249 Prince William Campus, 10900 University Boulevard, Manassas, VA 20110-2203. This class is offered by the George Mason University, Virginia Procurement Technical Assistance Program.
