- PLEASE NOTE: THE ARCHIVE DATE DOES NOT REFLECT SOLICITATION DUE DATE. The work will consists of, but is not limited to, relocation of personnel throughout the various phases of work; installation of automatic fire sprinkler system; upgrade the exit enclosure integrity; replace air handling unit in mechanical room; clean kitchen air ducts; provide electrical and LAN outlets; lighting; modify dining area; and asbestos abatement. The ARTCC is a 24-hour a day operational facility. This project involves numerous phases of work that require good interdisciplinary coordination and strict quality control between all aspects of construction: i.e. HAZMAT; mechanical; electrical; fire protection; and building refinishers. This project involves extensive mechanical work in the areas of heating ventilating and air conditioning, environmental controls, pipefitting and interior welding. This project involves extensive fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems in an operational critical facility. This project involves extensive electrical work and network communications work in the areas of lighting, power distribution, and LAN and other communications installations. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and drawings. 1. This project is a total set-aside for Small Business Concerns. 2. Construction time is 410 calendar days 3. The NAICS code is 236220 - ($28.5M) Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. 4. Estimated Bid Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 5. The contractor is expected to perform at least 15% of the work using its own employees. 6. Mandatory pre-bid site visit will be conducted. The date and time will be specified in the Request for Offer. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING GO/NO-GO CRITERIA IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SOLICITATION PACKAGE AND/OR AWARD: a. The general contractor is required to have general construction work experience and have successfully completed similar projects in operational facilities. (Provide list of past projects to include dollar value, name of agency/facility, point of contact, and phone number). b. The contractor must have delivered a quality product in the timeframe established by the contract. c. Contractors must have active registration in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.ccr.gov/. THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE FURNISHED TO GENERAL CONTRACTORS ONLY. General Contractors who are interested in providing an offer on this project must provide the following information: company name, address, phone number, fax number, point of contact, and complete the attached 2 documents SENSITIVE SECURITY INFORMATION and BUSINESS DECLARATION. NOTE: General contractors must provide a List of Employees and a List of Subcontractors as required by paragraph 1, items (b) and (c) on Page 2 of the Sensitive Security Information form.
