Description

This is published as a sole source announcement under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Ultrax Inc., 1141 SE Broadway Drive, Lees Summit, MO 64081-460 2, for a Software Configurable Automated Test Set (SCATS) Series I, part number 00-1120-00. The tester is required for depot level maintenance of H-60 Stabilator Amplifier, SAS Amplifier, HSI/VSI Mode Select Pnl, Stabilator Control Pnl, and Caution Advi sory Pnl. The SCATS is the only known off-the-shelf, self-contained tester which provides complete equipment interfaces and software that are military and industry proven items to perform such testing, and requiring no external test equipment, instrumen tation, or signal generators to perform the functional tests. The tester is capable of expansion to test other flight control systems in the H-60 helicopter with the addition of interface devices and shall not require modification to the base tester. Th e SCATS is also verified for all functional test, diagnostic procedures and fault isolation and identification called out in DMWR 11 6615-306. The Government does not have a data package for the test set and the related technical data is proprietary to U ltrax, Inc. FOB Destination, Tobyhanna Army Depot. NAICS is 334515, 500 employees.
