Description
The government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order for supplies needed to prepare a Fleet Mobile Surgical Hospital, in accordance with FAR part 13.5 (Clinger-Cohen), in support of the Naval Expeditionary Medical Support Command. The services are required for the deployment process to meet worldwide contingencies Supplies must be brand name or equal from Base-X Inc. 6051 N Lee Hwy Fairfield VA 24435-2505. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following item(s): (1) 12 Each, Base-X 305 Tan, (2) 4 Each, Connector Boot, Side, (3) 7 Each, Outlet Assy, (4) Light Kit W/8 Lights, (5) 2 Each, Mounting Rigid Door, End Door, (6) 2 Each, Rigid Door, Tan, (7) 11 Each, Divider Wall, (8) 6 Each, Boot, Open End, (9) 2 Each, Boot, Connector. (10) Shipping costs. RFQ to be posted NLT 23 March 2006. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 624230. At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide the following: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF1449 which identifies the requested item, with its unit price, extended price, total price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, Tax I.D. #, Duns #, and Cage Code. Responses to this solicitation are due by 28 March, 2006, 3:00 P.M. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
