Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to procure rental services for a 17-Ton Forklift in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Contract term is one 12-month base period and one 12-month option period. Individual task Orders will be issued through the period of performance. Period of performance will be 01 May 2006 through 30 April 2007. Far Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. will be utilized under this acquisition. The inrestricted solicitation will be issued approximately May 28th with a closing of 14 April 2006. Contractor shall provide on-site maintenance with a response time of eight hours after notification. Delivery is FOB: destination ? Bremerton, WA. The Government reserves the right to extend the option period by one additional year of performance. All interested party must be registered through CCR and can download a copy of the solicitation through the NECO web site @ www.neco.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained. Telephone requests will not be honored. The solicitation will be issued electronically as well as any amendments. It is therefore the responsibility of interested parties to periodically access the above internet site in order to obtain any amendments. Failure tot respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in rejection of same.
