Description

The Contractor shall provide, deliver and install an 8 ton Liebert closed loop refrigerant water chiller, model #PS096A-YS40 as part of a split system configuration. Upon completion of installation, the installer shall perform required start-up testing. All factory installation specifications must be followed. The Contractor shall certify that the installed equipment shall perform within all factory operational parameters. Contractor shall include at a minimum a 1 year factory warranty on parts and labor. Warranty period of performance begins upon successful start-up testing. The Installer must: 1. be certified by the State of Maryland to install R-22 refrigerant equipment; 2. be authorized and trained by Liebert to install and test this model of equipment; 3. have at a minimum 5 years experience installing this model of equipment. Unit is to be delivered FOB destination and installed at the CPSC Laboratory located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20878. In order for prospective quoters to be considered for this requirement, attendance at a site visit is mandatory. The time and date of the site visit is to be determined. Prospective quoters requesting the Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be notified of the site visit time and date. Requests for a copy of Request for Quotation (RFQ) CPSC-Q-06-0014 must be in writing and must be received no later than April 7, 2006. Requests for a copy must be faxed to (301) 504-0628 or emailed to pnerret@cpsc.gov. Phone requests will not be accepted. RFQ anticipated release date is April 10, 2006.
