- THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is seeking to pre-qualify firms for Construction of a Controlled Access Area (CAA) in a 1000 square meter portion of the New Embassy Compound, Chancery Building Suva, Fiji. The project will include the installation of HVAC; electrical systems; fire suppression systems; interior finishes; exterior cladding; technical security systems and cabling, and Government procured Force Entry, Ballistic Resistance (FEBR) windows. All materials will be shipped secure. Materials will require secure shipment. Estimated construction cost is $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. The chancery building is being designed and constructed under a separate contract. This work will require cleared American workers. This is an announcement and call for submission of prequalification packages for the acquisition of construction services to construct all classified portions of the NEC. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 16 months. SEE ATTACHED
