Description

VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 13) sole source purchase with Given Imaging, Norcross, Georgia, for capsule endoscopy which consists of Model 40262 Given Rapid Workstation; FGS-0023 R Rapid Workstation (110V); FGS-0089 Sony Monitor SDMS53/B-15in flat; FGS-0090 HP deskjet printer #5850; FGS-0078 Acccessory pack; #61030 Rapid License; Stock #40256 Data Recorder (which includes FGS-0079 Data Recorder and FGS-0080 Data Recorder); #20451 PillCam SB (10 pack) and FGS-0088 PillCam ESO 10-pack. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR.6.302-1 ? only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 339112 applies to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements, may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VA Illiana Health Care System,1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832-5198 or via fax to (217) 554-4590. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA Illiana Health Care System will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Given Imaging.
