- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 for the continuation of software maintenance in support of the IRS Modernization and Information Technology Services (MITS), Products Assurance with Corridor Consulting, Inc. The proprietary software is Corridor DM Publish Software. The contractor shall provide technical support, product fixes and upgrades, and provide product compatibility with Hummingbird software. This custom modified software is specific to the IRS Product Assurance function and is required for the continued operations of the IRS tax systems and will cover taypayer notifications. The period of performance is from April 1, 2006 through February 15, 2007. No solicitation document exists; therefore, requests for such a solicitation will be considered non-responsible. Interested parties, other than Corridor Consulting, Inc., must clearly state all of their capabilities and experience in support of the requirement stated above, especially how they will support Corridor Consulting, Inc. proprietary software.
