Description
SSA has a requirement to replace existing parts in Trane Air Handling units. It is essential to this requirement that Trane Fan Coil Motors and Trane Non Metal Fan Wheels are purchased to replace the existing equipment. It is critical that Trane parts are purchased, as they are the only brand that can meet the exact need for this acquisition. The use of Trane (OEM) parts are the only brand that can meet our needs based on the location, wiring, shaft size, and motor mounting. The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires delivery of the following items: (360) Trane Fan Coil Motors P/N-MOT1876; 1/30HP, 115V, 3 Speed- 1100/900/700, Double Shaft, 8.1?x1/2?x8.5?. (150) Trane Fan Coil Motors P/N-MOT1875; 1/20HP, 115V, 3 Speed-1100/900/700, Single Shaft, 8.5?x1/2?. (200) Trane Non Metal Fan Wheel P/N-WHL0721; 5.33?DIAx6.94?Long, .5?Bore, Clock Wise Rotation (40) Trane Non Metal Fan Wheel P/N- WHL0722; 5.79?DIAx9.06?Long, .5?Bore, Clock Wise Rotation Items shall be delivered, FOB destination, to Social Security Administration, Operations Bldg Loading Dock, 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD, 21235-0001 30 days after award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Award shall be a fixed-priced order and is 100% set aside for small businesses under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 423730- Warm Air Heating and Air-Conditioning Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. The size standard is 100 employees. The Government will place an award to the offeror, or combination of offerors, that results in the lowest total price for the requirement, administrative costs considered. For evaluation purposes, the estimated administrative cost of awarding a separate order is $500. Offers are due on March 29, 2006 by 3:00 p.m. EST.
