- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation involves the removal and replacement of sidewalks that serve two barracks at the Redmond Air Center. The sidewalks were constructed in 1963. Since then settlement of the base material, freeze thaw cycle, and rising in various sections of the sidewalk slabs due to tree and vegetation growth have produced many areas of abrupt height change causing uneven walking surfaces, causing a tripping hazard. Contract location is the Redmond Air Center, 1740 SE Ochoco Way, Redmond, OR 97756. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform the work within the specifications. Water, electric and restroom facilities are available on site for the contractors use to complete the project. Solicitation packages will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. The anticipated issuance date of the solicitation is April 3, 2006.
