- The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking qualified sources to provide rework/overhaul/modification of Dowty R-391 propeller components utilized on the USCG C-130J aircraft. Unserviceable propeller components are to be reworked and/or overhauled and modified to return them to ready-for-issue (RFI) condition. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 336413. This acquisition is unrestricted. The cage code for each of the following items is U7387. The requirement primarily consists of rework/overhaul/modification of the following items utilized on the USCG C-130J aircraft: Item (1) NSN 2840-01-534-0626, PROPELLER BLADES, PN 697040215-14; Item (2) NSN 1680-01-475-5641, PROPELLER ASSEMBLY, PN 697039001; Item (3) NSN 2840-01-497-8433, PROPELLER HUB, PNs 697040208 & 697040221; Item (4) BACK PLATE ASSEMBLY, PN 697040204; Item (5) NSN 2840-01-475-5650, SPINNER, PN 697056002; Item (6) BRUSH BLOCK, PN 697057233; Item (7) NSN 2840-01-475-5642, BETA TUBE, PN 697054001; Item (8) NSN 6645-99-733-6422, DE-ICE TIMER UNIT (DITU), PN 699004005; Item (9) NSN 2840-01-446-9665, AUXILIARY PUMP, PN 697065001; Item (10) NSN 2840-01-497-8307, OVER SPEED GOVERNOR, PN 697052004; Item (11) NSN 1680-01-475-5636, PROPELLER CONTROL UNIT, PN 697053003. Interested parties are invited to submit information regarding their experience/capabilities and a copy of their FAA certification for repair of this equipment. To be considered for award, offerors other than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) must provide evidence of their ability to perform, which includes their ability to obtain the necessary specifications, procedures, manuals, tooling, test equipment, and approved replacement parts from the OEM. The USCG is not authorized to release manuals, drawings or specifications.
