- Description
- In accordance with international Memorandum of Agreement NAT-I-1498, Annex 16, the FAA will procure four (4) ARTS Color Displays (ACDs), two (2) Remote-ACDs (R-ACDs), and related spares for the Israel Airports Authority (IAA). The IAA has a blend of digital and analog radars and wishes to maintain their current ARTS IIE processing system hardware and software. The ACDs and R-ACDs are configured to support interfaces with digital and analog radar and are designed to interface with and sustain the IAA's current ARTS IIE system. All equipment will be installed at IAA sites. This procurement is pursuant to Memorandum of Agreement NAT-I-1498, Annex 16, between the FAA and IAA. The terms of this Memorandum of Agreement require FAA to purchase the equipment on behalf of the IAA under an existing FAA contract with the only vendor for ACDs and R-ACDs, Lockheed Martin Corporation. To satisfy the requirement to sustain IAA's existing ARTS IIE systems, the FAA will modify its ARTS sustainment contract, DTFA01-99-C-00045, with Lockheed Martin Corporation, St. Paul, Minnesota, by an estimated amount of $1.6M. If interested and capable of meeting all requirements, please contact the Contracting Officer, Curtis Fields, at telephone number (202) 385-8649 or by email at curtis.fields@faa.gov
