- MARKET SURVEY AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Information is being collected for market survey purposes and not as a request for proposal or as an obligation on part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey and will not pay for information solicited. Please identify any proprietary information submitted. All information submitted will be retained in the contract office files as market research but will not be released to the public. The .45 ACP M1911 Ball Combat Pack, DODIC A475, NSN 1305-00-301-1685. This round has a 230 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) projectile used for anti-personnel and training. The cartridges are packed in 50 round cardboard cartons and then in M2A1 Ammunition Cans. While there are no firm requirements for this round at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 76,000,000 rounds for the first year, 102,000,000 for the second year, 120,000,000 for the third year, 153,000,000 for the fourth year and 1 82,000,000 for the fifth year for a total of 633,000,000 rounds. The .45 ACP M1911 Match Ball Combat Pack, DODIC A483, NSN 1305-00-892-2526. This round has a 230 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) projectile used for training and Competition Matches. The cartridges are packed in 50 round cardboard cartons and then in M2A1 Ammunition Cans. While there are no firm requirements for this round at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 30,000 rounds per year for the next five years for a total of 150,000 rounds. The .45 M1911 Match Wad Cutter Commercial Pack, DODIC A482, NSN 1305-00-892-4230. This round has a 185 grain Full Metal Jacket Wad Cutter (FMJ WC) projectile used for training and competition matches. The cartridges are packed in 50 round cardboard carto ns and then in fiberboard box. While there are no firm requirements for this round at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 4,000,000 rounds for the first year, 6,000,000 for the second year, 6,000,000 for the third year, 8,000,000 for the fourth year and 8,000,000 for the fifth year for a total of 32,000,000 rounds. The USG has no intention of waiving any technical data package requirements and does not intend to provide any GFM (Government Furnished Materials). The Army Field Support Command is seeking sources capable of meeting subject requirements. Interested sources should submit concept papers outlining their capabilities to meet the Armys requirements should they develop. Concept papers, at a minimum, should identify your business structure, business size and status, business capabilities to produce these requirements (equipment, technical, production rate capabilities identifying minimum and maximums, quality system utilized, etc.), past experience with same or similar items.
