Description

The work consist of preparing the existing levee crown and ramps for the placement of 4 of compacted aggregate resurfacing within the project limits; placement of barricades and project signs; and environmental protection. The project limits includ e approximately 13 miles of levee located in the proximity of Commerce, MO; specifically from Station 4/9+44 to Station 17 / 49+00. The work will include the placement of approximately 32,000 tons of aggregate surfacing on the levee crown and designated r amps within the project limits. The estimated cost of the work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This will be an unrestricted procurement with Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone small business concerns. For the purpose of this procurement t o qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the precedin g three fiscal years not exceeding $28.5 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS code 237990. Solicitation will issue on/about 11 April 2006 and bid opening will be on/about 11 May 2006.
