Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to procure a Test Station for Colortronic from KBA-Giori, North America. This procurement is for equipment in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 13.106-1. The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified purchase threshold. The procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.106-3 shall be used. The Government lacks specifications or function data with which to conduct a competitive procurement; equipment is proprietary to KBA Giori.
