Description

The Contractor shall provide labor and materials to install concrete pads on Gun Range, located at the USDA, ARS, Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, BARC Special Conditions and specifications. All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, April 20, 2006, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Bldg 426A, Beltsville, MD. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer by Thursday, April 27, 2006, 12noon. Questions may be e-mailed or faxed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), numbered PDF63045, using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about Wednesday April 12, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business sources may submit a written quotation including the certification and representations with in the clauses, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due Friday, May 12, 2006; 12noon. Quotes may be hand delivered, faxed or e-mailed to the Contracting Officer. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation that is most advantageous to the Government. Anticipated award date is Tuesday, May 16, 2006.
