Description

ISSUE DATE: 4/12/06. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to solarize Ram Island Light, Boothbay Harbor, Maine (Lincoln County). The work includes installing a solar panel array, foundation, lantern, sound signal, batteries and electrical connections. Replace storm panes and astragals in the lantern room, prepare and paint lantern room walls, ceiling, and floor/deck and incidental related work. The estimated cost range of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 4/12/06. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for 5/11/06 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 and the size standard is $31.0 million.
