TO PROCURE: ADVANCED NON-LINEAR OPTICAL MATERIALS RESEARCH IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: LASER HARDENING, OPTICAL MICROFABRICATION FOR MICRO ELECTRO MECHANICAL SYSTEMS (MEMS). SIC Code 8999 NAICS Code 541690, Size Standard $6,000,000.00. This is a Sole Source procurement synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of Non Linear Optical Material Research for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is: State University of New York at Buffalo . Buffalo NY 14215-1199. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider all quotations/responses received within five (3) days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement .
