Description

Work on this project includes: annual maintenance for channel stabilization of structures along a 38 mile section of Frenchman Creek downstream of Enders Dam, Nebraska. The work shall consist of minor regarding of river bank areas, removal of brush and trees, placement of riprap or other bank stabilization materials, resetting of existing channel stabilizing jax, and other associated tasks appropriate to this type of equipment. As this is a yearly maintenance project, it is the intention of the Government to make a multi-year award with a base year and four option periods. Exercising of option years is dependent upon need and the availability of funding for this project. The quote schedule is tentatively schedule to be available on or around April 7, 2006. The receipt of quotes is tentatively scheduled for April 27, 2006 at the Bureau of Reclamation Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of this request for quote, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for additional set. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238910. This is a small business set-aside. After issuance, the Solicitation/Contract/Order (Commercial Items) (Standard Form 1449) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation (including the Statement of Work) contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart Black Eagle. The request must be on Company Letterhead, and include the following information: contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, e-mail address, Tax Identification Number, and Dun and Bradstreet number.
