Description
The Defense Distribution Center located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the following commercial items: 2 Each ? Hurst 363R217 Mini-Mate Simo Unit; 2 Each - Hurst 362R312 Transformer Spreader System, includes 24?, 32? and 40? Arms; 2 Each ? Hurst 362R392 MOC II Cutter; 4 Each - Hurst 3530022 Hoses, 35? Orange; 1 Each ? Mobile Slide Out Command Module for 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, 60? Extendo EB-1260 Bed Steel Frame Assembly with Full Extension Lock PF-47 l/2 60 & SS Plywood Platform 47 l/2?X60? and Safety Screen, Upper Platform with Cutaway and Narrow Took Rack with Containment Caging, AP Board, Fold-Down Table and Drawer; 1Each ? Mobile Slide Out Command Module for 2005 Ford Explorer, Extendo PF 4036, Mini Receiver with Double 300# Capacity Slides, with Lock Mechanism and SS Plywood Platform 40?X36? and Safety Screen, Upper Platform, with Cutaway and Narrow Took Rack with Containment Caging, Map Board, Fold-Down Table and Drawer. These items are to be shipped to Defense Distribution Depot, San Joaquin, Tracy, CA 95376-5000. Preferred price is FOB Destination. This notice constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information herein. The acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423850 and the size standard to meet the set-aside requirement is 500 employees. A written solicitation will NOT be issued. This notice constitutes the only solicitation document. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-07 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20060223.SRA97-26. The following clauses are incorporated for purposes of this notice and will be included in the contract award document by either reference or full text: FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS; FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS; FAR 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS; FAR 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS, to include FAR 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-6, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.232-33, and 52.232-36; DFARS 252.212-7000 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS?COMMERCIAL ITEMS AND 252.212-7001 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDTIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS, to include DFARS 252.225-7036 . FAR clauses may also be viewed at http://www.acq.osd.mil/dp/dars/. Additional required clauses other than those above may be included as Addenda on the award document. Evaluation for award shall be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, EVALUATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this notice to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this notice will be most advantageous to the Government based on lowest price. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Offerors shall submit unit and extended prices for each item. Offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS with the offer. Failure to include the certifications along with the offer may affect the award status. The Hurst equipment is the only brand that meets these requirements. Requested equipment must be compatible with the Fire Department?s existing equipment. Also, the surrounding fire departments, which are supported through a mutual aid agreement, are using Hurst equipment. Therefore, in order to provide assistance to other fire departments, DDJC?s equipment must be compatible with the surrounding fire departments.
