- Description
- The United States Army Special Operations Command wishes to host a conference at a 4 or 5-star/diamond hotel in one of the following locations: Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; St. Louis, MO; Nashville, TN; Little Rock, AK; Orlando, FL; Chicago, IL; Kansas City, KS; Oklahoma City, OK; Tuscon, AZ; or New Orleans, LA for the period 22-25 June or 1-4 June 2006. The contractor would provide signs or a marquee directing attendees to meeting rooms, no-cost parking for approximately 45 vehicles, food and beverage, audio/visual support to include one voice phone line, a fax machine with telephone line, and power requirements for at least 3 laptop computers, space adjacent to the meeting rooms for eight 6-8 foot display tables, and internet availability in one of the meeting rooms. The room requirements include 36 guestrooms on day 1, 51 on day 2, 226 on day 3, 227 on day 4 and 36 on day 5. One administrative room adjacent to the meeting rooms with tables and chairs to accommodate 10 people for all days; a meeting room with U-shape seeting for 25 on days 2 and 3; area for conference registration eithr near the hotel front desk or outside the 300 people conference room with an 8 X 8 L-shaped skirted table and 4 chairs on days 3 and 4, room for classroom style seating for 300 people on day 4 and an evening reception on day 3 (round table seating), an awards luncheon on day 4, lectures on day 5; and 6 breakout rooms with U-shaped seating for 35 people.
