- USCG, MLCP (vpl-1) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for Dry-Dock and Repairs of USCGC HENRY BLAKE (WLM 563), a 175? buoy tender boat, home moorage in Everett, WA. Work will be accomplished during the period of 12 July 2006 through 19 September 2006, seventy (70) calendar days availability. A geographical restriction within the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, WA is applicable under this availability. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: production control GANTT Bar chart; hull plating, underwater body inspect; appendages (underwater) leak test; appendages (underwater) preserve, internal; voids (non-accessible) leak test; tanks (fuel) EDG day tank and overflow, clean, and inspect; watertight door renewals; z-drive propulsion unit overhaul; fathometer transducers general maintenance; vent ducts (all other) commercial cleaning; sea valves (<=2.5 inches) renewal; sea valve (>2.5 inches) overhaul; bow thruster unit (general) overhaul; cross deck winch repair; hyd chain inhaul winch repair, modify & test; mechanical chainstoppers level 2 inspect and repair; anchor chain and ground tackle inspect and repair; single point davit level 2 inspect and repair; sewage vacuum collection tank inspection; grey water holding tanks clean and inspect; pad eye inspect and test; anchor chain preserve; bilges (non machinery space) preserve; chain lockers preserve; forecastle space preservation and insulation renewal; buoy decks (exterior) preserve 100%; hull plating, underwater body preserve, partial; deck covering, Phoenix one step, installation; deck coverings (interior polymeric) renew; temporary services, drydock provide; drydocking accomplish. On or about 04 April 2006, a Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid.
