- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for non-personal services for local telephone exchange services for Anniston Army Depot, AL. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provid er, certified by the state of Alabama, shall provide local commercial communications service for Anniston Army Depot, AL, which shall include as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchan ge digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, off premise extensions, foreign exchange trunks, and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writi ng, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fi xed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 20 March 2006. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry web site: https://acquisition.army.mil, select ITEC4-West as the contractin g office. The Government will conduct a pre-proposal conference and site visit for Anniston Army Depot at 09:00 AM on 30 Mar 2006 in Bldg 362, 7 Frankfurt Ave, Anniston Army Depot, AL. It is recommended that all prospective offerors attend this conference. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the Contracting Officer listed below, in writing, of all atten dees names (not to exceed three per company).
