Description
This Sources Sought Notice is seeking Construction firms who are Small Businesses, 8(a), Women Owned, HUBZone or Veteran Owned. A market survey is being conducted to determine the sizes and types of businesses eligible and capable of satisfying this agencys potential requirements for civil works projects. This requirement could be Construction of a new columbarium with approximately 7,600 precast niches set in a reinforced concrete structure. Structure is clad in limestone with marble niche covers. Walks consist of flagstone and precast concrete pavers. Structure will have auger placed reinforced grout piles. Sitework consists of irrigation system, electrical service and turf replacement. The potential work would be performed to support the Balti more District and the North Atlantic Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Interested firms should submit five (5) copies of a four-page narrative demonstrating their experience in the Construction Civil Works arena for the last three (3) years. Also in the narrative provide business designation, such as HUBZone, 8(a) or Disabled Veterans, agencys point of contact, telephone number and provide self certification for the category. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237990. This is not a Reque st for Proposal nor is it a request for placement on a solicitation mailing list. Responses are required within fourteen (14) days after publication of this notice (3 April 2006). Responses should be addressed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimor e District, P.O. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market s urvey nor return any data provided. The results of this survey will be considered effective for a period of one year from the date of notice.
