QUESTION: In reference to Solicitation YYITB6PR6AP214, please advise the items for which you require the 3-year SmartNet maintenance. Please note that SmartNet maintenance is normally purchased for the Router/Switch BOXES only (such as CISCO2621XM, WS-C3560G-48PS-S, WS-C3750G-12S-S, etc.) ANSWER: We require 3 year Smart-Net maintenance support on all items that Smartnet maintenance is available for. QUESTION: One of the Cisco3845 (QTY 18) have 36 power cable listed. 3845 comes with only one and there are no redundant power supply mentioned. Is that a typo error or additional 18 power cables are required as spares? ANSWER: 3845s require redundant power supply. 18 additional power cables are required. Total 36. QUESTION: One the last line item they you are asking for is 3 yr Smartnet Maintenance - 8 x 5 x 24 hour phone technical support, next business day warranty replacement. Do you want this for just the Smartnet items or all of the items that we can use this on? In example the Catalyst 3560 48 10/100/1000TPoE + 4 SFP Standard Image, Catalyst 3750 12 SFPStandard Multilayer Image, and the other items similar to this? ANSWER: We require 3 year Smartnet maintenance for all items that it is available for. Note from Cisco Rep: The National Sales meeting is in August not this week. ATTENTION: Due to the volume of questions, answers and 24 hours to post on FED Biz Opps and requests for extension to prepare proposals from a number vendors the DCMA procurement office has elected to extend the solicitation to Close 12 o'clock Midnight,Friday April 7, 2006., Eastern Time.
