- Description
- The Lassen National Forest has a variety of support facilities throughout northeast California. These facilities include but are not limited to building, vehicle fueling stations, potable water systems, wastewater systems, utilities, and other infrastructure. These facilities support all Forest missions for public users and agency staff. Maintenance and replacement of these systems is required on a regular basis. The Forest Service intends to select multiple Contractors to accomplish tasks in multiple geographic areas of the Forest. Maintenance, repair, replacement and newly constructed facilities are planned in a number of trades. Work items will appeal to general contractors, roofing contractors, plumbers, electricians, Building Maintenance Service providers (?Handyman? type services), California Department of Health Services certified contractors, Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program certified water testing laboratories, Firms awarded contracts shall be asked to provide quotes on specific task orders. This contract will be for a 12-month base and 4 Option years. This solicitation will be available for electronic download on or around March 10, 2006. This solicitation will be unrestricted.
