Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract extension for the continuation of the Main Base refuse collection contract in support of the 96 Civil Engineering Group at Eglin AFB, FL. The period of performance will be 1 April 2006 to 30 Sep 2006. The award is to an 8(a) business, Urrutia, Inc. 106 West Court Square, Abbeville, AL 36310, contract F08651-01-D-0045. Services under this contract consist of providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items necessary to perform refuse, recycling, and compost collection and disposal services for Eglin AFB. Statutory authority for this sole source extension is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. No formal solicitation will result from this announcement.
