Description

Project No: KYJM 05-9005, The solicitation is unrestricted full and open to all interested parties. This acquisition is for repair/replace/install of roofing to various buildings located on Homestead ARB, FL. The work to be performed is in connection with repairing and replacing the roofs and shall consist of, but is not limited to, roof survey and generation of drawings; removal of existing flat roof systems and insulation; repair/replacement of roof decking; removal of roof penetrations/equipment and capping; replacement of wood blocking and nailers, installation of new flat roof systems and insulation; repair/replacement of perimeter and field flashings; repair/replacement of trim, fascia, gutters, downspouts, soffits, scuppers, roof drains, and passive ventilators; repair of various roof system deficiencies; removal and re-installation of electrical conduits per the most recent National Electric Code; installation of stucco and painting of new wall surfaces; and minor repairs to standing seam metal roof (SSMR) systems. The acquisition shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price type contract one base year plus 4 optional years with each performance period having a maximum dollar threshold of $750,000.00. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 30 April 2006. Interested firms must send a written request via mail or electronics facsimile.
