Description
The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center East intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W911SE-06-R-0012 to provide logistic support services that may be used by other Continental United States (CONUS) installations as needed. Resultant contracts shall require performance in twelve task areas: Program Management Operations; Quality Assurance Support; information Technology Support for Logistics Systems; Training Support; Army Transformation Logistic S upport; Programmatic Support; Transportation Supply Support; Kitting and Parts Assembly Support; Installation Logistic Support; Field Maintenance Support; Comprehensive Support for Centrally Managed Program; Command Wide Logistics Enterprise Systems Suppor t. The purpose of this requirement will be to provide CONUS and Overseas Continental United States (OCONUS) logistic support services in all task areas. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210; smal l business size standard is $32.5 million. The competition will be separated into two separate suites, a restricted suite and an unrestricted suite. For purposes of this acquisition, suite is defined as a collection of task areas that are reserved f or satisfaction by a particular industry group. For this acquisition, the restricted suite will be set aside 100% set aside to Small Business and the unrestricted suite will be full and open competition. This can be managed by forming teaming arrangemen ts between small and large businesses. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 14 April 2006. The resultant contracts will be multiple award Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contracts that will be for a base peri od of five years and two-year option periods utilizing Firm Fixed Price, Labor-hour, Time and Materials and Cost Plus fixed fee type task order.
