Description

The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the Overhaul of the Hydraulic Actuator. The Output/Input NSN: 1650-01-189-2989, Output/Input P/N: 67A323 or 214-001-347-109. The proposed contr actual action will be a Five year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a Minimum Quantity of 12 Each, and a Maximum Quantity of 150 Each. The 20% Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement of 30 Each has been included in the Maximum Quantity. The input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall 90 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 5 per month. The Maintenance and Overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturers blueprint(s)/pro duction drawing(s) and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This item has not been identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) . The aircrafts prime manufacturer BELL HELICOPTER TEXTRON INC, HURST, TX (CAGE 97499) is the only known source of Overhaul for the Hydraulic Actuator. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for Source Approval to: Commander, U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending source approval. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depen dent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. All r esponsible sources that can perform the above effort may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
