Description
The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC) anticipates award of a requirements-type contract with contract performance commencing on/abt October 1, 2006 onboard USNS COMFORT for a period not-to-exceed five years. The contractor shall provide primary support as the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) technical expertise for management of the system's software, server, attached peripheral devices and CHCS training for system users during dock trials and deployments. The CHCS provides the baseline database integrated with the ancillary software functionality across the spectrum of Military Health Services (MHS). During vessel deployment the contractor shall perform secondary tasks including administration and support of the Defense Blood Standard System (DBSS), administration and support of the Digitial Image Network-Picture Archiving and Communications System (DINPACS) and maintenance of the official USNS COMFORT website. The contractor may be required to travel to other locations on an emergent basis in support of the CHCS MHS. The contractor's shipboard personnel shall possess a security clearance and be familiar with and abide by patient confidentiality regulations.
 
Place of Performance
Address: The primary place of performance shall be onboard USNS COMFORT {T-AH 20} in Baltimore, MD. However, the contractor shall be expected to provide the required services onboard USNS COMFORT worldwide, either pierside or underway.
