Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, etc., necessary to clean both the inside and outside surfaces of the vision glass and the opaque spandrel glass of the curtain wall assembly to include, but not limited to glass, frames, casings, sills and ledges. Wash all glass surfaces in and around all entrance doors to include both the inside and outside surfaces of the outside set of doors at each entryway. Clean the inside and outside surfaces of the exterior walls of the dining facility. Clean the inside and outside surface of the dining facility skylight. After cleaning, glass shall be clear, free of stains, film, smudges, streaks, water marks, etc. and shall not be cloudy. Work to be performed at the Defense Supply Center ? Columbus, Operations Center, Building 20, 3990 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213. Only those contractors having been in business for five (5) years, and who have experience in performing work on buildings of similar size and characteristics may submit a bid. The Project Manager shall have a minimum of five years experience in the management and supervision of window cleaning operations for buildings of similar size and characteristics as the Operations Center. Period of Performance is for one (1) year with four (1) year options. Total including options shall not be more than five (5) years.
