Description: The USDA Forest Service, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, is advertising for the above project located on Forest Road 199, Ashland County, in northern Wisconsin. Tributary to Morgan Creek Bridge has a deteriorated major culvert. The culvert will be replaced with a timber superstructure bridge and this will facilitate better fish passage and stream movement. The work is expected to begin in early June. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $150,000. A bid bond, performance bond, and payment protection is required. The solicitation will be a request for proposal resulting in a best value award. ORCA certification is required.
