Description

This Request for Quote is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) has a requirement for vessel support to deploy a TAO Buoy to Station 42040 of the coast of Louisiana. The contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price with a fixed daily operating rate. The fixed daily operating rate shall include all costs necessary to perform this contract, including but not limited to the following: estimated transit times from port to site and port-of-return, vessel rental fees (if applicable), vessel reconfiguration and restoration costs (if applicable), fuel/oil consumption, and food and accommodations for 4 to 6 NDBC representatives. The vessel shall meet all United States Coast Guard requirements. Vessel specification sheets shall be provided with quotes. The contracted vessel shall meet all requirements listed in the statement of work for this solicitation. The solicitation and statement of work is available for download on this website. The contracted vessel may load the NDBC gear and personnel at a location chosen by the Captain and return to the vessel's home port. See Numbered Note 1. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 483113 with a size standard of 500 employees. Quotes may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to the contact information listed below. All quotes shall be received by 3:00pm on Friday, April 14, 2006.
