- This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. HSCG24-06-Q-3JC642 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-04. The applicable NAICS is 336999 and the business size standard is 500. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside PRocurement. FOB: USCG Industrial Support Detachment, 120 Woodward Ave., New Haven CT 06512. Offers are due at: USCG ISC Boston MA by Noon EDT on 7 APril 2006. Fax: 617-223-3145 Questions: Jane.a.mckenzie@uscg.mil The USCG ISC Boston has a requirement to purchase: Two (2) Sea camels and associated hardware (stainless steel fittings) Each camel shall be composed of low maintenance and long lasting material, MARINE composite material composed of 100% recycled material, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years service expectancy. 1. Camel Number One: Shall be thirty-two (32) feet long and thirty (30) Inches wide. The camel shall resist a compression force generated by a forty ton vessel with a lateral speed of up to one (1) knot. THe freeboard of the installed timber shall be a minimum of 8 inches. 2. Camel Number Two: Shall be twenty-six (26) feet long and 30 (30) inches wide. The camel shall resist a compression force generated by a forty (40) ton vessel with a lateral speed of up to one (1) knot. The freeboard of the installed timber shall be a mimimum of 8 inches. NOTE: Drawings of requested sea camels can be accessed via www.fbo.gov reference HSCG24-06-Q-3JC642. Camels shall be delivered to: USCG Industrial Support Detachment, 120 Woodward Ave., New Haven CT 06512. USCG has crane to offload. Companies quotes should include: 1. The Solicitation number HSCG24-06-Q-3JC642; 2. THe time specified in the solicitation for receipt of quotes; 3. The name, address, and telephone number of the offeror; 4. A technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate in compliance with the requirements of the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents; 5. Terms of any express warranty; 6. Price, availability, and any discoount terms; 7 Remit address, if different from mailing address; 8. A completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR52.212-3 (FAR 52.212-3(j) for those representations and certifications that the offeror shall complete electronically; 9. Acknowledgement of Solicitation Amendments 10. Past performance information, when included as an evaluation factor, to include recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contact, telephone numbers and other relevant information); 11 If the offer is not submitted on SF1449, include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration; 12. Company Tax Information and DUNS Number. All responsible sources may submita quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
