- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFP FOR SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIO REFERENCE IMPLEMENTATION DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFP and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to 1) Clarify and modify the solicitation page count and 2) Inform Offerors of the possibility of multiple awards. Amendment specifics are as follow: 1) Statement of Work (SOW), Section IV "Required Information," Number 12, shall read "20 pages of technical information maximum" in lieu of "20 pages maximum." Page size and font requirements remain unchanged. In addition, the following sentences shall be added to the end of Number 12: "An additional five (5) pages will be alloted for cost information. Technical information submitted in the cost pages will not be evaluated. The use of a smaller font size is permissble within charts depicting product costs." 2) SOW Section I "Overview," Paragraph 2, shall read "The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards for this procurement. Multiple awards may be made to the same Offeror or to multiple Offerors. Multiple offers, by the same Offeror, are acceptable." in lieu of "Multiple offers, by the same Offeror, are acceptable." The due date for receipt of offers IS NOT extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 02/27/2006. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
