Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Information Systems Services Division, Hardware/Software Branch (DITCO/AQSS31), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to M.C. Dean, Corporate Headquarters, 22461 Shaw Road, Dulles, VA 20166. This acquisition is for the modification of the UPS power distribution system that provides dual power redundancy to raise floor environment. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to modify the UPS distribution system for the DISA Norfolk Processing Element. These upgrades and enhancements are proprietary and are protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance with be for one year after date of award. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Only M. C. Dean has existing service and maintenance components at DISA PE Norfolk. All installation work must be performed by trained and certified M.C. Dean technicians. Authorized resellers who can provide the above listed requirement must indicate their written interest within 2 days of this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable. Only authorized resellers for the specific make and model of the required components will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order.
