Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 200508and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20060321. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3663 and the size standard is 750 employees. NAICS is 334220. The 412 TW, AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing for Airborne bit synchronizers for data rates up to 10Mbps, Qty, thirty (30) Each. equipment needs to be equal to the items listed to meet the form, fit, and function of existing systems. REQUIREMENTS: Airborne bit synchronizers for data rates up to 10 Mbps, Quantity, Thirty Each. Standard specifications are as follows: Units allow up to 8 pre-programmed set ups to be field selectable via discrete or software Link control enables outputs when signal quality meets a pre-set metric Tape output is adjustable in both PCM output code and output voltage Interrupt control disable outputs until required Set up software displays signal quality metrics Internal PRN pattern correlation Self test on start up checks over 90% of the components Performance is within 0.8 dB of theoretical to 10 Mbps Size is 6.85? x 5.00? x 1.125? Data input is SMA-F; Tape output is SMA-F Output interface is DB15 Panel Connector; control interface is DB9 Panel Connector Data and clock outputs are differential; Input controls are RS-232 Uses 0.5 Amp max at +28V Quote shall include Freight FOB Edwards AFB CA 93524 with Delivery 90 DARO.
