- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number W91CRB-06-T-0082. This is a Foreign Military Sales requirement for the Government Jordan under FMS Case JO-B-WAR, Purchase Request BJO04N5348Y004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 335129. Th e size standard is 500. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The requirement is for the following items: CLIN 0001 Zoom Headlamp, 2000 ea., Petzl Part No. HL577; CLIN 0002 Replacement Bulb for Headlamp Flashlight, 2000 ea., Petzl Part No. HL5 87; CLIN 0003 ASPIR C24 Multi Use Adjsutable Harness, 200 ea., Part No. CE/UIAA-400g; CLIN 0004 Rappeling Harness, 200 ea., Brigade Quartermasters Part No. RAPH23; CLIN 0005 Stubia Carabiner Model 82, 50 ea., Brigade Quartermasters Part No. LSO426; CLIN 00 06 Descender 8, 50 ea., Brigade Quartermaster Part No. LDS8; CLIN 0007 Victorinox Knife, 47 ea., Brigade Quartermasters Part No. 54864; CLIN 0008 Parachatist Lockable Knife, 50 ea. Delivery is 9 months after date of award; F.O.B. point is Origin; Inspecti on and Acceptance is at Origin; contractor shall not ship materiel but provide the location from where the materiel will be shipped. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their quote. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercia l, applies to this acquisition. Contracting Officer shall make a best value award decision based on the following evaluation factors: Delivery schedule and price with p rice being significantly more important than delivery.
