Description

Mount Plate is used on the M2A2 and M3A2 armored Vehicles. The Material is Carbon Steel, in accordance with Spec QQ-S-741. Basic shape style: A2 Rectangular. Overall Dimensions in inches: 4.38 width, 1.880 length, 0.375 thickness. Features includ e two (2) mounting holes, internally threaded to 0.375-16 UNC; four (4) rounded corners with 0.50 inch radius; inscription: 19207-9380474 MFR-XXXXX. Protective Finish per Paragraph 2.1 Exterior Paint System, as per Drawing 19207-12350824. Do not apply pri mer or top coat to threaded holes. Packaging is one each per package, Commercial Grade. The anticipated fixed-price contract will be for an initial production quantity currently estimated at 365 units, with up to three (3) option quantities at 100% each of the original quantity. Delivery Terms will be FOB-Destination. The estimated Request For Quotation Issue Date is 18 April 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address, via the internet: https//aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as w ill any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation, and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties tp periodically access the above internet address in orde r to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal as nonresponsive, and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation is restricted as a total small business set-aside. Offers from concerns that are other than small business are not solicitated.
