Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 109th Airlift Wing, Scotia, New York, has a requirement for six C-130 Aircraft washes and lubrication. Circumstances prohibit this service from being accomplished at the 109th Airlift Wing, Scotia, New York. Contractor must be able to receive and depa rt aircraft at their location which includes aircraft towing. Contractor washing facility must be an adequate aircraft facility to accommodate a C-130 aircraft with adequate hot and cold water and equipment to accomplish the task. Government will provide aircraft wash soap. C-130 aircraft washing and lubrication must be accomplished in accordance with Air Force Technical Order T.O. 1C-130A-23-CL-1 (Washing and Cleaning) and Technical Order T.O. 1-1-691. Contractor must also complete a Post Wash corrosion a nd cleanliness inspection in accordance with Air National Guard Instruction ANGI 21-105. All tasks must be completed within 48 hours of receiving each aircraft. Each aircraft will be separately scheduled. Contractor and servicing employees must be certifed to perform these C-130 aircraft tasks. Contractor facility must have adequate security safeguards for C-130 military aircraft. This procurement is reserved for small businesses. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database located at www.ccr.gov. Contractor must complete FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Ite ms. Award of this procurement will be made to the most advantageous offer to the government based on proposal price and proximity to Scotia, New York.
