Description: DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), solicitation number AG-82X9-S-06-0032. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07 The North American Industrial Classification System code is 238220. and the business size standard is $13 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation is for the replacement of existing boiler at Boxelder Job Corps, Nemo, South Dakota. Service Contract Act Wage Rate Determination Number 1994-2485, Revision 26, dated 5/23/05 applies. Technical questions should be directed to Phil Bowes, 605-348-3636, extension 3766. Quoters may submit quotes for one contract line number (CLIN) as follows: CLIN 0001: replacement of existing boiler at Boxelder Job Corps, Nemo, South Dakota – Lump Sum Price – F.O.B. Boxelder Job Corps, Nemo, South Dakota. $_____________________. The Government plans to award a firm fixed price contract without discussions resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Contractor shall identify the manufacturer and specification of the boiler being offered. Quoter must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, with quote. The Government will then assess each quoter’s total contract line number (CLIN) price, to determine reasonableness. Delivery time is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. The clause FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
