- 1. The purpose of this amendment is to eliminate the small business standard and the revenue cap from the notice/description on FEDBIZZOPSS. Specifically, the notice/description posted on FEDBIZOPPS is hereby replaced with the following: GovWorks is issuing a Request for Proposal on behalf of the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group who has a requirement for a support team of professionals. The support team of professionals must be experienced in Explosive Ordnance Disposal operations, combat shooting techniques, tactical vehicle operation Ammunition, Arms, and Explosive Management, exercise design, construction of IED and unexploded ordnance (UXO) training aids, scheduling and coordinating EOD and NECC training evolutions, and critical time intensive administrative functions. The contractor will travel to off-site training ranges, demolition, and small arms ranges, training facilities, conferences and meetings, and other places as required to support EOD and NECC training requirements. The contractor support tasks indicated in this SOW support training of NECC forces deploying to Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF) and a critical focus on the long-term mission accomplishment of EOD and NECC forces. The solicitation will result in the award of a hybrid Firm Fixed Price/Time and Material contract with a period of performance of date of award through September 30, 2007 for the base period and four (4) One Year Option periods. Place of performance will be on-site at EODTEU ONE Det China Lake, CA-located in Ridgecrest CA, EODTEU ONE Anti Submarine Base Point Loma, CA, EODTEU ONE Det San Diego, CA and other locations as needed. The request for Proposal, Statement of Work and all other associated documents will be made available via the Internet at http://www.govworks.gov/vendor/csolicit.asp under RFP 04-06-RP-61924. Any questions and answers and modifications will be posted at the above site. The RFP is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about March 29, 2006 and will be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential vendors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to Shelita.Burks@mms.gov . Ensure that the RFP number and project title is referenced in all correspondence. 2. All Other Terms and Conditions Remain Unchanged.
