- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia intends to solicit, on an unrestricted basis, for the provision of modeling and simulation support services for the Naval Warfare Development Command (NWDC) Newport, RI. These services include, but are not limited to support in the following NWDC and SEA TRIAL functional areas: Modeling and Simulation, Information Technology support, database and web development, system administration and maintenance support. The resultant contract shall be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Delivery Order contract. It is intended that at least one award will be made to a Small Business. Delivery orders shall be competed independently on a cost plus fixed fee basis. A contract consisting of one base year, with four, one-year options is anticipated, with a projected award date of 01 October 2006. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541330, Engineering Services. The solicitation shall require the submission of cost and technical proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia. RFP N00140-06-R-1213 will be made available electronically upon its release at http://www.neco.navy.mil. It is the Navy’s intention to issue this solicitation through electronic means only.
