- Elmendorf AFB, Alaska has a requirement for Operating Room Scheduling Software for the 3rd Medical Group, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Estimated quantity is 1. The NAICS code is 511210, size standard $21,000,000. This acquisition for Commercial items will be accomplished using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The solicitation and Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued as a 100 percent Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. The RFQ will be issued on or about 17 February 2006 with a closing date on or about 10 March 2006. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is http://www.ccr.gov. Upon issue, the RFQ will be available on the Internet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site, which is at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. All responsible sources may submit a written proposal, which shall be considered. Please note that a paper solicitation will not be issued, and all documents related to this acquisition will be posted on the EPS. See Number Note(s): 1 Requirements for this software include: 1. Ability to eliminate equipment requirement conflicts. 2. Ability to produce case logs. 3. Ability to tracks surgical implants. 4. Produce metrics based on Case log data. 5. Manage surgeon preference cards. 6. Generate case specific pick slips for cases and tracks inventory. 7. Ability to sort data by a single field or selection of field groups. 8. Ability to allow procedures to be assigned/sorted by CPT code, which will provide real time accurate surgeon case/time estimates. 9. Code delays in order to detect bottleneck trends in patient movement through the department. 10. Ability to track Pre-Op/ Post-Op diagnosis as well as scheduled versus performed surgeries can be analyzed to control variance in scheduling. 11. Ability to track the number of times a specific instrument set is used to schedule sharpening/refurbishment.
