Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is working with the National Institutes of Health?s Office and Dietary Supplements and the Food and Drug Administration to produce a series of Standard Reference Materials (SRMs) for dietary supplements. The objective of this procurement is to blend and package a series of Standard Reference Materials (SRM?s), SRM 3254- the ground and sieved green tea leaves, SRM 3255- green tea extract, and SRM 3256- green tea-containing finished products. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. This requirement is being procured using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13, under full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, any subsequent amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-06-Q-0297. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about April 11, 2006, and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
